It is with great sadness that we bring you the news of the resignation of our long standing Treasurer, Kevin Gill, from the Treasurer’s position. It is hoped that Kevin will remain a member of the Shed going forward and he has not indicated otherwise. Kevin is a founding member of the Northampton Men’s Shed and has been part and parcel of the many great things that have happened over the years.
Pursuant to our constitution, the Northampton Men’s Shed will be holding its 2026 AGM on November 18th, commencing at 1.00 PM at the Men’s Shed building. This is a Wednesday and the meeting will follow our scheduled Containers for Change trading for the day.
The Northampton subcentre of St John Ambulance has been able to purchase two Starlink Mini satellite services, 100% funded by the Northampton men’s Shed. Our wonderful ambulance vollies have for years been dealing with “black holes” in their phone and two-way radio coverage. Not ideal for an ambulance service…
